psalm 103

just a little something for you to grab a hold of today:

bless the Lord, o my soul;
and all that is within me bless His holy name!
bless the Lord, o my soul,
and forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

my commentary:
we should bless the Lord.
we should encourage ourselves to bless the Lord.
we should strengthen ourselves in the Lord.
why???
because of all His benefits -such as: the Holy Spirit, spouses, kids, homes, food, friends, etc...
because we are forgiven
we are healed
we are redeemed
we are crowned with lovingkindness and tender mercies
our mouths are filled with good things and our youth is renewed like the eagle's!

CHALLENGE FOR THE DAY: OWN THE SCRIPTURES! make them your own, read them like a prayer. put them in the first person (i think that's what i mean...read/pray them like you're in it)

GOD IS GOOD. BELIEVE IT.
